Administration and bookkeeping issues
The Director General is responsible for the annual financial plannings as well as the annual plan of activities that has been prepared in cooperation with the heads of divisions of the Agency. These instruments are to be handed over to the Ministry of Trade annually in February at the latest. The head of financial matters of the Agency is responsible for preparing in December each year the financial plan for the upcoming budget year as soon as the State Budget has finally been adopted by Parliament.
Concerning public procurement issues the Act No 94/2001, on Public Procurement as well as regulation No 1012, concerning minimum amounts that apply for public procurement issues in the European Economic Area and according to the WTO Agreement concerning public procurement apply. Further guidance on purchasing strategies and rules is provided for in the internal quality rules of the Consumer Agency.
