5. Invoice, payment instructions and confirmation of registration
When the producer (importer) has sent the registration form the Consumer Agency will make an assessment of the submitted information and the number of products that are notified and take decision regarding the number of fee(s) to be paid. After assessment of the information, the Consumer Agency will in accordance with the procedure as previously described make a decision regarding the payment of fee(s). The Agency will send an e-mail with information on the total amount of the submission fee in ISK, bank costs together with bank information that the submitter shall pay for marketing the products in Iceland and thereby complete the registration procedure.
Fee for each registration is 75.000 ISK per product
The payment of the fees shall be made to the bank account of Neytendastofa (Consumer Agency) no later than 30 days after the date of issue of the invoice. Further processing of the registration of the products notified will only take place after the payment of fees according to the invoice has been paid to the Consumer Agency‘s bank account. In the event that no payment has happened within 3 months from submission of the registration forms and invoice was sent to the submitter the request for registration will be closed without permission to market the product in Iceland.
A fee is not refundable if a registration is denied.
